IGCSE Biology 

At GCSE we follow Cambridge IGCSE course. The course is designed to expand upon the topics studied in Years 7 - 9, and to allow students to develop their skills of knowledge and learning. As Biology is compulsory at GCSE, we are able to encourage, extend and nurture those who enjoy the subject, whilst also helping ‘non scientists' to develop self-confidence.

 The Biology curriculum at Key stage 4 is broadly divided into sections:

• Animal Nutrition
• Plant Nutrition and Transport   
• Respiration and the human transport system
• Coordination, Response and Homeostasis
• Reproduction in plants
• Human reproduction
• Organisms and environment
• Human influences on the environment
